Southern California is the place to be- 80* in the sun, 70* in the shade, and ZERO humidity!

Kreekree and I are definitely enjoying ourselves...

Yesterday we slept in till about 11am (2am Eastern time). My friends back at home know this was much needed :) After our cappuccinos we went to Fashion Island, Newport Beach. Purchases were minimal seeing as I have 1lb of give for Aussie plane limitations. We did lots of window shopping and indulged in some delicious Pinkberry frozen yogurt and Sprinkles cupcakes!

We then met the rest of the fam at an awesome Mexican restaurant and, once again, over indulged ourselves.

Today was a wonderful day beneath the California sun:

We picked Matt Mayer, Kristen's brother, up at the OC airport around 9am and headed straight for Laguna Beach. We walked around all day eating, drinking (frappes of course!), and taking pictures. All I can say is that it's famous for a reason- one of the most beautiful places in the world. The Jaynes, our amazing host family, live in quite the paradise!
