California girls....best in the world ;)

Guest Blogger today!!! --  Kree :)

Today is Monday, July 13th and I am currently sitting on the bed in the room OJ and I have been occupying in the wonderful Jayne home. Can I just say that I know for a fact that the Jaynes are the absolute best hosts in the world? Seriously...it can't get better than this. They have taken us in like we're their daughters and have spoiled us with laughter, love, ridiculously awesome dinners, and of course we can't forget....the incredible cappuccino's every morning ( and of course anyone who knows me knows I LOVE coffee...so I've had two cap's everyday... courtesy of Mrs. Jane :D). We have had such a great time with them and feel so so so so blessed that we've been able to stay with them (and according to them they've loved having us here too) & we know we'll be back sometime in the near future :) Hopefully it won't be a whole 3 years before we see them again like it was last time.

Right now I am watching OJ pack her bags carefully as Mrs. Jane is weighs them to make sure they stay under the 36 pound maximum...which is not easy if you're Olivia...or any girl for that matter :) As soon as we're done with this, we are off to LA for the day! I'm very excited...this is my 4th time running around the city and I've done different things every time, so it's always an adventure! This will be Olivia and my 2nd time together in LA and last time was so much fun, so this time is sure not to disappoint.

Yesterday, our last day at the Jayne house, was very relaxing yet again. We woke up around 8:30 and got ready for a little hike (they have beautiful horse trails overlooking the mountains right beside their house). It felt SOO good to exercise since we've been eating our little hearts out with incredible food since we arrived on Wednesday night. After coming back from the hike we had a quick snack, then put on our bathing suits and headed for the Dove Canyon pool to catch some rays...I mean you have to get some sun before you go to winter in Australia!!! We swam around in the pool for a while and my crazy brother threw us around some too after we would stand on his shoulders- I must say I hit the water pretty hard sometimes and it wasn't too pleasant of a feeling (but lots of fun nonetheless :D).

early morning hike

Olivia and I are fighting over whose house this will be in the future...not sure who won. Oh and this is also the neighborhood of the 'Real Housewives of Orange County' tv show...pretty sweet, huh?!

Dove Canyon pool!

Mr. Bill and OJ taking out the weekend car ('Slik BMR' ;D)

After the pool, we came home, took showers, and Olivia and Mr. Bill headed to the doctor (sinus issues with OJ that needed to be checked out before flying a million hours) and Mrs. Jane and I headed to take my brother, Matt, to the airport so he could get back to Idaho. When we all arrived back at the house, Mr. Bill began grilling ribs ....and they were INCREDIBLE! We also had grilled veggies and the works. For dessert we had 'Golden Spoon' frozen yogurt...also incredible.

We ended the night all relaxing in the family room ..and OJ and I hit the bed around 11pm, which is very early for us, but we needed some good shut eye before our big day in LA today and then with our flights tonight also. We're both flying out of LAX tonight around 11:55 pm (3 am east coast time!). I can't imagine how hard it's going to be to say bye to my OJ for FIVE MONTHS!! I can't even think about it right now...I'll get too sentimental haha. If I can get out and visit Aussie land than I definitely will! Back to today though...we will spend part of the day probably in Beverly Hills, walking around Rodeo and Robertson Blvd ( my favvvvorrrrite!!), maybe run into a celeb or ten, and then we might check out downtown Hollywood as well. Then we'll have  a goodbye dinner with Mr. Bill and Mrs. Jane, then check into LAX around 8:30 pm! Phew it should be a big day. Ok well OJ is pretty much done packing, so we are heading out! I've enjoyed being the guest blogger today :) Make it a great day !!!
