Kiss me, I'm Irish!!!

Such an awesome week so far - the SUN appeared today! Hello Vitamin D - I certainly needed it :)

This week was uni and ST. PATTY'S DAY! I have to admit, I was shocked by the lack of commitment from the Aussies - I had to force a 'wear green' pact with my roomies... tsk tsk and then when I got to uni, the only people wearing green were my American friends!!! Simply couldn't believe it. Fortunately the Irish bar, O'Malleys, celebrated in style :D 5 Points better treat me right in 2011! Mags and I had a great time out - hung out with some new friends and met a few as well... Couldn't stay out too late - uni at 8a but an awesome Aussie-St. Patrick's Day 2010, nonetheless :)

I pinched Mags for not wearing green...
Luck o the Irish!
Thank you O'Malleys!!!
Our... interesting friend, Mark

After uni, I came home to a sleepy Maggie but the sun was out so we had too as well. Got yummy smoothies and lunch from Koast and took a walk to the beach. We have the best conversations together. I think the beach encourages DNMs (deep and meaningfuls)... so good.

Lovely lunch :)
Nearly there M'ba

FOOD TIME:
Maca! Pots are for cooking,
not serving ;)
:)
Clemson colored balloons!!!
Tigers... did you come to Aus & not tell me??

Something new, like I mentioned above, I have American friends this semester! Crazy huh? Not just Sweds, Fins, Kiwis and Aussies! Getting out of my comfort zone... On a weather note: beautiful today but storms are supposed to start Saturday. They need to c'mon down and get it over and done with! Clear by Wednesday?? I hope so!

Have an amazing weekend everyone - Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Love you

Oh, and I'm going to Brissy this weekend... party party party ;)

  2. I love the St. Patrick's Day outfit accessories - the black hair elastic bracelet and the green chewing gum. Such a fashionista!

And I don't think the man on Mark's T-shirt is St. Patrick...

Smiley face oatmeal - makes it look even yummier!
    love you chockers :D

  3. haha we encountered the same situation with St. Patrick's Day...because I'm the only American in my class, the only other person who wore green only did so by accident haha and then my professor asked me if i were at least Irish, and I had to try to explain to a room of Chinese,Iranians, Russians, Italians, etc. why St. Patrick's Day is a big deal in the United States even if you're not at all Irish like me. though the bars and stuff celebrated plenty so that was still fun :) i agree about St. Pat's 2011 in 5 Points though...it had better be awesome!
