Academically speaking, I am officially half way through the semester! Already!!! That seriously blows my mind... So much has happened but there is still so much to come.

Next week is our intra-semester break. It's a two week break half way through the semester (Spring Break) and we are certainly making the most of it. Sini, from Finland, and I have had quite the time planning this and I am ready! There are nine of us attending - Sini, +2 friends from Finland, Magnus, Chris, Samara, Erik, Rebecca, and me. We're picking up cars from Brisbane, driving to Cairns (20.5 hour DRIVE!!!) Then we are white water rafting, bungy jumping, snorkeling, biking through water falls, kayaking through the reefs, oh and relaxing.... right! But no worries, we'll have plenty of relaxation time in the car ;) After a few days in Cairns, we're camping down the coast, stopping at all the hot spots. Don't forget, it's called the Great Barrier Reef so it travels down the whole coast of Queensland. It's going to be an all-around great time - I can't WAIT to fill y'all in!
I am hurridly packing now while finishing a 1500 word Accounting Report - It's going to be a long night yet! I'll be out of commision/contact for the until the 29th of September but feel free to email me at orj002@student.usc.edu.au incase we stumble upon an internet cafe. I love you all very much - send your thoughts and prayers for safety and positive attitudes our way :)
What an amazing trip you have planned for your Spring break! Drive super safely - you hold lives in your hands, not just a steering wheel. I'm going to miss you SO MUCH while you're out of contact cruising the east coast of Australia.
